This week was pretty good. We baptized one person. The other sister and her child didn’t get baptized because it turns out that she had an abortion so we’ll have to wait on that one till next week. This week was also fun. On Tuesday we worked a normal day. Wednesday was different. We went to the offices because my comp had to renew his visa. They sent me to another area close to work while my comp was out renewing his visa. The coolest thing was that they sent me to SAN FELIPE DE JESUS! I couldn’t believe it! I thought that it was going to be another area, but I got lucky and they sent me back to one of my old areas. We went and visited my converts it was sweet. It was a great time and I found out about all of them, and they’re doing well there maintaining activity at church and progressing alright. There is one that’s not going because of work, but says that in a month or so will be out and able to go to church more. Everything was great—it was a pretty cool day. I saw a lot of members-- most of them recognized me, but some didn’t ha-ha oh well. So it was a killer day.
Thursday I did divisions so I wasn’t in the area. I was kind of disappointed at the lack of effort of my comp and the missionary that was with him. But whatever. Then Friday we worked like dogs and Saturday too we had to get the numbers up for the 2 lost days. So everything’s super sweet. Right now we have 4 with dates so this week we should baptize and next week. Anyway today we went to a taco place with a bunch of elders and on the way home we were in the combie and laughing and talking a lot in English and some dude was with his girlfriend. I think he got mad because he thought we were talking about his girlfriend and laughing at them which wasn’t true. Anyway, I was the last one to get off and when I did he stood up and kneed me in the back really hard. Everyone freaked out, but since I was getting off the kid shut the door and I think the driver didn’t even notice. He hit me really hard, but for some reason it didn’t hurt very bad. I think it got me in the perfect place that didn’t hurt. Kind of weird. Jim Gaffigan makes fun of the "Latin temper" and I think it’s true-- people seem to be getting mad around here a lot and really fast. Anyway I was a victim of a foolish move, but it didn’t hurt and things went on as normal. I might be a little bruised. At the end of the day it’s just a funny story. I don’t think it was directed at me, but because I was the last one to get off he took his anger out on the easiest one. Things are going well. That’s the first thing that’s ever happened to me here in 21 months, so I guess that’s pretty good.
So other than that sounds like everything is good. It sounds like everyone is getting married. How weird, Chris, RJ, Laurence. Hopefully I don’t jump on the band wagon getting home, but we’ll see. Everything is well here, have a good one.
