This week we did well, but I’m a little worried about the district. The district is going downhill. We have kind of been told to stop focusing on less actives so much and on fortifying the ward-- helping people be stronger and more faithful through the 5 points of the gospel: Church attendance, Scripture Study, Tithes and offerings, Family Night and Family Prayer. President says that if the families do that they won’t wander off in to forbidden paths. Anyway that’s how it goes.

 

Today we went to Wal-Mart to look at some insoles because mine are turning into dust. The shoes are alright but the insoles aren’t but they were kind of junky. I would like some super feet ones but I think there out of my price range.

 

Going back to the district-- they are teaching a ton of less actives. I guess I’m not doing a great job at relaying the information, because they keep on doing it and without members with them. My old comp Elder Ames is struggling with his new comp and Vazquez is still junior comp, but some elder pretty new is with him and he likes to make fun of his Spanish.. uh! Oh well at least I’m doing well with my comp and he has come a far way. Don’t worry about him. He’s fine now. He bought new shoes and that helped everything. So things are fine here in my area, but the districts going down. But we are doing well. This week we have Nancy whom we have been working with for a long time, but she has gone to church 2 out of like 3 months. I don’t even know why we’re still teaching her. Oh ya, because we tell her if she doesn’t go to church we have to stop coming by and then she goes!  I don’t feel like she has shown the fruits of baptism yet but the zone leaders are putting a lot of pressure on me to baptize her. I will have to talk to her really well and then decide. So it’s a possible baptism for this week. I would rather wait another week and baptize her with a little bit more security, hoping she will keep on attending.

 

Anyway a few questions-- when the heck did Landon and Keisha go to Hawaii and Derek is getting married? I feel really out of the loop. Grandma sent me a letter with a ton of pictures on it, that was pretty cool. I like the pictures, but also I have no clue who all of them are. I recognize like half of them. Anyway thanks for the help and support.
