Tomorrow we will be heading to san Juan de Aragon for transfers. Elder Morales will be taking off and I will get a new companion, so we will see what happens. They say that a ton of missionaries are going to come here. I guess I could train and that would be cool, but whatever happens happens right? Anyway this week was good as we baptized Roberto. A taxi driver that is our first member reference!! Mom’s right the wards do need to kick it up a gear and start helping the missionaries. Now that we can’t contact or knock doors it’s a lot different.

This week we baptized on Saturday and confirmed on Sunday. That was pretty cool. He is a funny guy as he told us "I know you don’t believe me but I’m going to do this with all that I’ve got." I think he said that because he knows he’s not really a person that shows emotion. I guess that would be a good translation though I feel it sounds cooler in Spanish. He said, "No me cream pero voy con todo" for the Spanish speakers. It was hilarious as we walked around laughing about it for hours. Pretty cool guy -- anyway we baptized on Saturday because my companion wanted to see him get confirmed. Nobody really came just the family that invited him to church. We invited about the whole ward but that’s just how things go still. We continue to work with the bishop, so that he will call a ward mission leader. It seems like that’s not on his priority list. He told us the name of the person he wanted to call but the problem is he is inactive and I have the sneaking suspicion that he is smoking also. He is an ex-bishop so it would be really a great job for him, but his house always smells like cigarette smoke. He lives alone so I don’t know what’s going on there. I am going to ask him if he is smoking this week, so we’ll see what he says.

This week we had elder Hernandez with us because his companion finished his mission on Friday, and so he came with us. He will get a new comp tomorrow along with me. I don’t know why, but I was really uptight this week. When I heard my companion had transfers it really relaxed me I think the kid makes my blood pressure rise or something how weird. I feel really relaxed right now and I hope I can train. That would be great as they say training is sweet, because the new guys just kind of follow you, and never dare to not be obedient and follow you. That would be cool. My companion kind of follows me and tells me everything I’m doing wrong. Enough complaining -- Heavenly Father, my new companion and I are going to change the Rìo de Luz ward and make it super strong! I have thought a lot about what to do to help and I have a lot of plans, but I have not put anything into practice as my companion didn’t like my ideas. Now I’m going to do it and it is going to be awesome -- the future is bright! I need to work with the bishop and this less active that’s going to be our mission leader. We are going to find the way to get this ward moving.

So things are great here --don’t worry about me everything will be fine. It sounds like things are great at home. Tell parker to practice his pull ups as we are going to have a competition when I get home. The other day I did 22 pull ups!! Beat that! Ha-ha, anyway thanks a lot for the help and support! Bye.
