Elder Cameron Hendricks Mission Letter/April 15, 2013
This week was pretty normal and I’m completely fine and I got over my sickness but something special happened!!!! I have changes or transfers as you guys called them! It is really weird because I’m supposed to be with my comp for 2 transfers, but I guess somebody else will finish off the training. But that’s alright --honestly I’m scared to have another rough comp, to be 100 percent honest with you. Changing wards kind of stinks because you have to get to know new people and what not.
That’s super sweet that Landon got into Mizzou! He says he will be able to be there when I return home, but honestly he won’t if Kiesha's having a baby the same day!!! Ha-ha hopefully it all works out and they can be at both. What happens happens and that’s alright.
I have changes and they’re making a new mission. It’s very likely that they will send me back to PACHUCA and I will most likely be part of the new mission! We will have to see what happens. So knowing that I was going to probably leave we hit up "el zocalo"!! (If they send me to Pachuca I will probably never have the chance to come back) Everything there is happens to be in downtown Mexico City. I will send pics as it was sweet. We saw about everything in a short amount of time. My comp knows really well downtown, because he is from there. So he took me on a tour -- don’t worry we only saw one friend of his on accident. It was pretty sweet, really crowded but cool. With changes tomorrow and I feel kind of bummed. I wanted to stay here, but oh well; I’ll go where you want me to go dear Lord.
Sounds like Parker is making some Mexican food chilaquiles I have eaten like a bunch of times. They’re pretty tasty. Horchata they have here, but everybody just buys tang packs to make it. It’s not even all that special like I thought it was in the states. RJ and Mark are already back! I thought that they took off after Jackson. Who knows I’m all lost. I hope the mission was good to them as it has been to me. So who knows where I will be tomorrow. I’m actually kind of worried but I have got to have faith that everything will be fine right now. It’s not the time to be like Lot´s wife --ha-ha! Thanks for everything.
