I don’t know if I should be happy or sad but I’m staying here and my companion has changes there was some problems with a 17 year old girl that he really likes so I talked to my district leader and asked him what I should do and he told me to call president. I called president for help and advice and he kind of flipped out and sent us to special interviews. He thanked me for calling him, and my companion basically admitted that he and the girl where headed for trouble. (getting a little flirty nothing more). People are asking questions and my companion is kind of uncontrollable when it comes to this girl……so anyway that’s alright we have changes tomorrow at 2 so we will see what happens. I will be getting a new companion and saying goodbye to Elder Cruz. The good thing is that he’s not mad at me. He accepted his guilt and told president that he needed changes so that’s good. He has plans to come back here after the mission which I think is kind of funny but whatever.

 

This week went well (a little ruff) but I think I just passed by the biggest trial that I have had on the mission which was my 3 weeks with Elder Cruz (hopefully). I can’t wait to get my new comp, I hope everything will be great and we can work super hard.

 

The District Federal is a lot different than Pachuca or Tulancingo as they have bicitaxis here there like bikes or motorcycles that pull little carts behind them full of people (that would be a killer job hauling 3 people and yourself on a peddle bike). There was one Seinfeld episode where Kramer starts a bicitaxi business in New York City. That’s hilarious but that’s kind of what they look like except they’re made of metal. Mom said something about being in the city verses the country and feeling safe. This area is secure, but there are other areas of Mexico City that are in this mission that I have heard bad things about, but my area is good. Don’t worry.

 

Our baptism fell through this week because they were not married and we didn’t know. I thought they were married because they have a lot of money and usually the people with money are the ones that are married. Anyway we will have to get them going and hopefully this week we can get him in the water. We honestly haven’t been having very much success here but I’m praying that will all change this week!  I am going to work really hard with my companion. that’s for sure I feel kind of bad for slacking off with Cruz, but I don’t know if you could call it slacking of more just putting up with his junk.

 

In having to make this decision to tell President when to return home I think I’m going to tell him to send me home the 3 weeks early and I will go right into school. I will probably get home like august 20th or something like that and then take off to school and in the summer come back to St.Louis and work for Steve Folley and work for Converges in Logan. Anyway I’m just making the decision one time and then going to be done with it because I have to decide now and then I can get my mind completely back on the work. Anyway that’s where I’m at but hopefully you all can help me out picking my classes and getting me signed up!
