Well this week was pretty good. I’m starting to get more sleep and I am now in a trio! So now I’m with Elder Fieldsted and Elder Girsberger. Elder Girsberger was supposed to go to Peru 3 weeks ago but his visa didn't come in. So far it’s been great he has really helped out the companionship a lot. We have way less problems now. He is a really talented guy-- probably the best basketball player I have ever been friends with. He lettered in 4 sports at Bingham in Utah. And graduated with a 3.9. Anyhow he’s real smart so he can help me out with Spanish. So on Friday I thought the Spanish was going really well I was starting to understand all of the grammar principles. But then this one teacher keeps pulling me out of class for 1 on 1 teaching time which is great but nobody else gets pulled out-- just me so it makes me wonder if he sees me falling behind or something. Anyhow grammar, English, and Spanish were never my strongest subjects. but I’m doing my best to get it down. I really need to work on conjugating my verbs on the fly instead of always having to pause and think about it but we have already learned all 7 tenses I think that’s how many there are. Anyhow it’s frustrating when you have to look up words that you know you knew at one point but you forgot them...forgetting stuff is the worst part. Anyhow we teach ever week and this week we taught a lesson to our teacher and after she told us that it was awesome so I was pretty stoked about that.
So really cool we had Elder Richard G. Scott come by for our fireside last night and it was great. He really brought a pretty awesome sprit with him and really built us up and what not. Anyway so as for like food and treats here we have so much! Everybody that leaves gives all their stuff away because they can’t take it. So I have inherited so many candy bars and candy and soaps and shampoos and all this crazy stuff. Oh and this week we won the cactus cup! It’s a giant trophy made out of cactus coolers by some other district that left and now we play basketball for it. But basically me and another guy play but we don’t really do anything ha-ha Elder Girsberger pretty much wins it for us but that’s cool with me.
Anyway I’m doing well and my blisters our gone so that good. Tell Spencer the spandex ones are the bomb and he should get mostly those that’s what all the elders wear. Anyway I might send you a little something for Brynlee’s birthday but I’m not going to spend too much I will probably just send some pictures of something. Thanks later talk to you next week.
