Ok a quick update because I got to go things are good. We have two investigators ready for baptism and they are the 2 that were in the whole crazy movie deal. but one was supposed to be baptized this week but it fell she had an abortion a whole back so we get to go to México to talk to president with her! Yes I honestly think it’s the whole going to Mexico thing is a waste of time but whatever here we go. Um the other is really excited about baptism and I’m almost 100 percent sure they will come through on Saturday. we have baptism on Saturday so they will still have the memory fresh in their mind when they wake up in the morning. it’s kind of funny some just fall and don’t come to church after their baptism how sad huh. Anyways- today we ate breakfast in a restaurant for my birthday and one elder bought a cake. Mexicans do this stupid thing that instead of lighting candles and all that they smash your face in the cake I was kind of upset about it but I guess its culture right! Anyway--. Juan Manuel we are still working with he is just really stubborn he all ways says he wants to learn and little bit more but we have all ready taught him everything he listens to church music on Sundays and doesn’t buy things either he is basically a member and knows more that most members about the church. Anyways he just won’t commit to baptism.
well that’s the investigators this week was good one time Landon told me that he would just be walking down a street and hear music from the houses and I thought that was really weird how could you hear music in the street from a house nearby but it’s really true they build the houses wall to wall so all the sound echoes off the houses on the other side of the street. Ha-ha Mexicans love music and I hear a ton of music this week I hear I want to know what love is. And it really cracked me up it was in the house of a member she had this 80s music and she was listening to in while we were eating. Oh this week I smacked my head on a cage everybody’s short and so these things aren’t dangerous but the sun was in my eyes and I was walking really fast. and looking down and there was this cage sticking out of this wall of the tienda covering the electric meter its really small but I didn’t see it and smacked my head really hard which kind of stunk but whatever that’s Mexico for you... anyway there’s more but I can’t really remember right now. still the culture hear cracks me up noise in the united states is such a bother to everyone but here there are gas trucks honking horns in the morning at 6 am ha-ha nobody cares. Also they sell tamales on the street and they sell strawberry tamales they are delicious in a torta which is what mom would call a Hoagie Bun! Anyway I’ll try to take some pictures this week so I can show you a little about Mexico City because where going to go there Wednesday. Anyways got to roll love y’all. If you sent me something I will get it on Wednesday when I got the Mexico. Later
